Fabulous 1930s bedroom suite with wardrobe, dressing table and chest of drawers .

Fabulous 1930s handmade bedroom suite! I am very reluctantly parting with this gorgeous bedroom suite due to downsizing. It was HANDMADE for my grandmother as a wedding gift and cost her family a lot of money, even in those days. It is hand carved with a pretty flower and leaf design and it has handles which I presume are bakelite. Three of the handles are damaged but they could be restored - which would be worth doing as this is an impressive period piece. There is a dressing table with mirror, with a 2 over 1 drawer configuration. The mirror is in excellent condition and has bevelling around the edge. The drawers section measures 106cm wide by 46cm deep and stands 63cm high. The spacious wardrobe carries the same carving and has a good sized drawer at the base. It is 120cm wide by 45 cm deep and 190 cm high. The mirror is in very good condition! The drawers are a useful size and there are four of them. The chest of drawers measures 76cm wide by 46cm deep by 92 cm high. This is a sad parting but there is no room in the new house.
